Five dinners, sides, and a Sunday dessert — a full week planned, four weeks over. Shopping lists included.
This is not an ordinary cookbook. An ordinary cookbook just gives you recipes. But finding recipes is not the hard part. The hard part is planning the meals. And that is what I have done for you in this cookbook. Four weeks of dinners with the sides already chosen, a shopping list for every single week, and nutrition on every recipe. Each recipe also has a video so you can watch me make it. And these are the best, most family-friendly recipes I have — the ones my family really eats.
If you’ve ever stood at the fridge at five o’clock with no idea what’s for dinner, this is for you.
I’m Stephanie, and I cook for a crowd every day. I’ve been doing this for over 30 years, and this cookbook is my way of sharing what I’ve learned

Come take a look inside — the weeks, the shopping lists, and the recipes.
The Family-Friendly Meal Plan Is the Part That’s Done
Every week in this book opens the same way mine does at home. Five dinners with the sides already picked. Wednesday is leftovers, because the best night of the week is the one you already cooked for — and Sunday and Monday’s cooking still sits comfortably inside the three to four days the USDA gives cooked leftovers. I built the week that way on purpose. Saturday belongs to whoever’s hungriest — that’s your family’s choice. And Sunday gets a dessert.
Then comes the page I think does the most work in the whole book: the shopping list. One list per week, organized by produce, meat and seafood, dairy, bakery, pantry, and frozen — the way you actually walk a store. Shop once on Saturday, and the week is handled.
That’s one week, and then it happens again, four times over. Four weeks of decisions you don’t have to make. It’s the same thing I do here every Saturday with my free Weekly Meal Plans — just a month deep, and all at once.
Filled With My Best, Most Family-Friendly Recipes
A plan is only as good as what’s on it. I have over a hundred recipes on this site, and I could have filled four weeks with any of them. I didn’t. I went through and chose the ones that actually work on a family table — the meals my crowd asks for on repeat, the ones that get eaten instead of pushed around a plate. The lasagna. The pot roast. Daddy’s crockpot chili. The Poppyseed Chicken that’s been watched more than three million times. If a recipe was fussy, or only half the table would touch it, it didn’t make the book.
And I didn’t stop at the main dish. The sides are in here — the roasted green beans and carrots, the campfire potatoes, the herbed lemon rice, my homemade cole slaw. So are six desserts, one for each Sunday plus two extras you can swap in when you need something different. Every recipe gets its own page with a photo, prep and cook times, servings, and full nutrition. Ingredients on the left, numbered steps on the right, nothing to flip back to.
Every recipe also has a QR code at the bottom of the page. Scan it — or tap it, if you’re reading the PDF — and it pulls up the video of me actually making it.

Let me be honest with you about something, because you’d notice anyway. Every recipe in this book is already on my site, free, and it always will be. The weekly meal plans stay free too — always.
What you’re buying is the planning. Four weeks of it, sorted and shopped and ordered, sitting in one place instead of scattered across a hundred pages of a website. And it’s a lovely thing to hand to someone you love.

Family-Friendly Meal Plan FAQ — The Questions I Get
What’s the difference between the PDF and the paperback?
Same book, same 33 recipes, same plans and shopping lists. The PDF downloads the moment you buy it, so you can pull it up on your phone in the grocery aisle or print the whole thing and stick it in a binder on the counter. The paperback is a real 8.5 by 11 book in full color, shipped from Amazon. Some people want both, and some people want one to keep and one to give away.
If the recipes are free on the site, why buy the book?
Because the recipes were never the hard part. What you’re buying is four weeks of dinners already decided, with the shopping lists already written — that’s the work, and it’s what saves you the five o’clock scramble. The recipes are free and staying free. The planning is what’s in the book.
Will this family-friendly meal plan work if I’m not cooking for a big family?
It will. Most of these serve eight or more because that’s how I cook, but every recipe lists its servings so you can scale down easily — or do what I’d do and lean into the leftovers. A pan of baked spaghetti that feeds a family of seven feeds two people for most of a week.
Can I print the PDF?
Yes, print as much of it as you like. Print the whole book, or just the four shopping lists and stick them on the fridge. It’s yours.
Do I have to cook the weeks in order?
Not at all. The weeks are built to stand on their own, so start with whichever one looks good to you. The shopping list at the front of each week matches that week’s dinners, so wherever you start, the list still works.
